Intel Science Talent Search scholarship
A 17-year-old Indian American student, Shivani Sud, has won the $100,000 Intel Science Talent Search scholarship, the US’s most coveted school prize commonly referred to as the Junior Nobel.
Her winning project uses biotechnology to identify and treat patients suffering from colon cancer.
“This is a recognition of my hard work. It gives me an opportunity to give back to others who need help,” Shivani said.
Daughter of Ish and Anu Sood, Shivani beat 40 finalists, including seven other Indian Americans for the top prize.
Past winners of this prestigious annual competition have later bagged more than one hundred of the world’s top Science and Math honours, including six Nobel prizes.

I will carry Olympic torch: Aamir
After footballer Baichung Bhutia backed out on the Tibet issue, Bollywood star Aamir Khan on Tuesday agreed to run with the Olympic torch here though he empathizes with the Tibetan people and feels the games “do not belong to China”.
Declining requests not to take part in the relay, he asked them “to understand that when I do run with the torch on April 17, it is not in support of China. In fact, it will be with a prayer in my heart for the people of Tibet“.
The Indian Olympic Association has roped in celebrities like the actor, former supercop Kiran Bedi and tennis ace Leander Paes although Bhutia has declined to run in the event citing the Tibetan issue.
Former Olympic football captain P K Banerjee has also decided to participate, despite his failing health (given that he is 71) as it is a matter of pride for him.
Aamir said in a statement posted on his weblog, “I have the highest regard for the struggle that the people of Tibet are going through. I completely empathise with them“.

strongly typed language
Statically typed language :: the type of a variable can not be altered.
int x;
x = 420;
x = “Mr. Bechara”; # Error
Dynamically typed language :: the type of a variable can be altered at any time.
x = 420
x = “Common I am a good person”
x = :intelligent_person
x = /regular ex form/
Strongly typed language :: strict about what you can do with your typed variables.
On mixing, it will see I am hugging a beauty or a bitch.
You smells like a rose
x = “14″
y = x + “February” #”14February“
The stinking ….
x = “Decemebr”
y = x + 1 # Error
Weakly typed language ::play a show definitely for your typed variable. I meant for lust not love.
x = myfunction_returns_5();
y = x + 1 // Ya give me 6 , damn!! it has given me 51
Ruby : Dynamically, strongly
Javascript : Dynamically, weakly
C,C++ : Statically
